That ridiculous art project that puts homeless and not-thin people into Abercrombie & Fitch clothes and then photographs them as a way to make a point is just so misguided. It’s one of those things that people post on Facebook because they think it makes them seem compassionate but if they were to think critically about this project, they might? see that it robs people of their humanity and uses them as props and that’s maybe a tad fucked up and also doesn’t REALLY address the larger issue of the A&F CEO’s disgustingess. It’s just a childish way to thumb ones nose and get a little media attention. Repeat after me, THE WORLD DOES NOT NEED ANY MORE WELL INTENTIONED WHITE PEOPLE*.
*I’m stealing and adjusting this statement from my dear friend. Oh no, maybe I’m also an asshole?
